Pre-Application Planning

If you are thinking about setting up a new business, expanding an existing one or changing the way you operate, not only do you need to deal with all the obvious business issues such as finance, staffing, stationary, etc you may need to resolve planning issues too.

We can advise you whether you need planning permission; minor extensions, provision of new plant and equipment and whether some changes of use can be undertaken using Permitted Development.

If permission is required we can advise you whether your proposal will get planning permission; advising on changes to your proposals which could secure an approval rather than a refusal. We can also advise when other specialist input is required, for areas such as Conservation, Ecology, Flood Risk, etc.

We can undertake formal negotiations with the Council in advance of an application submission; offering further advice once the Council has commented as well as produce and submit your Planning Application.
