Project Design & Management
Project Design and Management are necessary on larger projects which require a team of specialists, for example, in the development of large industrial estates, residential developments and retail schemes. Acting as project managers we develop a working brief to meet our clients' requirements and objectives. We assemble the necessary members of the development team and ensure that all parties work together in the client's best interests.
The development team, under our direction, provides detailed drawings to progress projects from initial discussions with Local Authorities to formal planning and building regulations approvals. Our computer hardware and software, together with the technical skills of the practice enable us to develop a cost effective service for -clients.
We have particular experience in the design of new highway and drainage infrastructure.
Following the grant of planning and building regulations approvals projects need positive management in order to ensure that they are completed in the most effective and efficient manner.
In a Design and Build scheme, instructions for selected members of the development team are subsequently transferred from the client to the contractor.
