Planning Services
The introduction of national Planning Policy Statements designed to protect the environment, residential amenity and to control sensitive developments has had a significant impact upon the content of Planning Applications. In the past it would have been sufficient to send the completed form with a set of plans, this is no longer the case.
Local Authorities frequently require significant amounts of information and data ‘upfront’ as part of the application submission and these can include Design and Access Statements, Flood Risk Assessments, Heritage Statements, Noise Reports, Transport Assessments, Topographic Surveys, Measured Building Surveys, etc. Land and Development Practice offers a wide range of services to meet local authority’s requirements; we can provide these as an overall package as part of your application submission or we can address specific aspects that are required.
We also have considerable experience in dealing with Agricultural Development proposals, representing Residents Groups, and securing permission for Caravans and Log Cabins. In addition, and whilst not strictly being a planning issue we have resolved and mediated in numerous Boundary Disputes. A full list of our services and further information can be found by clicking on the links to the left of this page.
